Placing Header With Theme

Hi, im really confused with placing the header on my coppermine gallery. i tried to follow the directions on the FAQ page but it didn't really get to me clearly. I was wondering if anyone can give me an easier step by step instructions on how to place the header picture onto the gallery? thanks!

Edit your theme's template.html and add the html for the image wherever you would like it to appear.
