If I want to add an avatar to my forum-profile, how large can this be?

on this board: 65 x 65 pixels max.
Mmm, the one I like is a GIF of 67 x 67  :-\

Do not send me a private message unless I ask for one.  Make your post public so everyone can benefit.

There are no stupid questions
But there are a LOT of inquisitive idiots

Just a thought then, how come I've only seen one two avatar pics that meet the 65x65 criteria?  ::)

Maybe the size restriction is new. When I went to change something in my profile, I got a warning message that my avatar is too big.

what am i missing?

i would like to add an avatar to my profile on this forum...

i got to my "PROFILE" and click thru all options - i see no way to add...

how do we add avatars here?

thank you

Avatar policy is subject to changes. Currently, only privileged user groups can have avatars. Regular users (you fall into this category) simply can't. This policy was inforced to avoid board spammers abusing the avatar feature. If you want an avatar, you'll have to see to it to get promoted into a privileged member group (e.g. contributor, translator). To accomplish this, just contribute - see We need your help  ;)

i would love to...

i have come to the forum as a first time photogallery user

i have spent a fair ammount of time searching the forums to get answers to questions i have..

i have posted to the forum in good faith, and see i have an annonomise drive by shooter giving me negative karma...

not a very friendly place, why would folks want to learn and become valuable members of the community if htey get their heads slammed against the coppermin floor...

nothing in my messages from the negative karma button pusher...

no gentle nudge on hte shoulder suggesting a better way to go about getting things done in a community like fashion, i guess this group has a bulley and i do not like bullies...

in my book a bully is just a poor sould that chooses to pick on and belittle others as this is one of the few ways these people (bullies) can find personal satisfaction in their lives...

i have always felt a bit sorry for bullies as there must be something missing in their lives to drive them to such madness...

if i get an apoligy and karma back to nuetral - i will do all i can to help in this 'community' as i do not want one bad egg to spoil the basket

What does this have to do with the size of your avatar? Follow the board rules if you want to be treated in a 'friendly' way.
