This question may have been answered previously, if so I apologise, I have tried to look but could not find what I want.

My site has just started using coppermine.

http://www.ontheroad.eu.com/both/photos/Coppermine.htm

The template I am using (2bornot2b I think) is perfect for my use, I have edited the main pic already, however I would like to be able to edit the colours.

This may be really simple but this is my first site and I have been trying to learn php and css as I go along with little success, although my experience with yappig and blogger have given my some points in the right direction.

If you just need to direct me to another post, that would be fine, but I was unable to locate it myself.

Any advice greatly appreciated.

There are some tools to use at the bottom of this post - http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?topic=24056.0. I'd recommend using Firefox and the Web Developer Tool myself. Using this tool will tell you which style property is controlling what color on the web page.
Did you read the manual first???? Taking 2 minutes to backup your files can save you hours of wondering what you screwed up.
