Layout problem, albumlist

Hi all,

After reading the stickies I managed to make some alterations to my layout/template, but I still have something that I can't seem to get working. On my frontpage I want to show the latest albums (easy to do in config) but then i want the layout to show as followed:

album name   images    uploader    timestamp

I did the RTFM but i can't seem to get it working! I also had a look into /themes/sample where a lot of good stuff can't be found but no soluiton to this. Forgive me if i ask a stupid question but i'm new to CPG.
