1. In my Coppermine Gallery I have no registered users. Just guests. Guests are allowed to post comments.
2. I had closed the option for comments earlier this year, but visitors requested it frequently. So, I reopened the option. I want that people can express themselves, make suggestions, correct some of our descriptions, and interact.
3. Recently someone commenting the images has been placing links to inconvenient sites. URL is untraceable. I have been busy deleting those entries.

Question:
Is there a way that only the Admin could use bbcode (links, email) ?
Or else, disable completely the option to use bbcode for both guests and admin ?
I understand that anyone could still continue including URL or emails, without an active link, and was also wondering if it possible in that case to include, for example, www or http, or :// in the banned words list?

Thanks in advance to those who can guide me to solutions.

There are a couple of mods to deter comment spam. Look for akismet and captcha.

Thank you so much. I will take a look.
In my Word Press blog I understand that akismet is active. I did´nt know that I could use it also in the Coppermine Gallery.
I will try it.
