Hi,

Ive been using coppermine for the last few years and I must say that its still the best gallery out there.
Although one function that I have always missed is a moderator function. Big galleries with alot of
active users need alot of administration, and sometimes is too much work for one person.
Its possible to add another admin account, but then the user has total access, and might (unintentionally) damage the cpg installation. Therefore it would be better to be able to give a certain group permission to delete and/or approve and/or edit images in certain categories.

Im not sure how much work and code changes it would cost to achieve something like this, but i do think it
would be a super addition to the cpgng system. And alot of users would like it.

Ive also replied to another thread regarding this issue.

ps. Tnx for adding a new template system, looks like its much easier to modify ! :D

Little point requesting a feature that's already been accepted...

n3n

No the feature hasnt been accepted. That was a feature where you can select which groups can see your pictures.
My request is that you can select groups for moderation.

Joachim Müller

Moderator capabilities have been requested often before already, and the dev team has replied accordingly. Advanced permissions with moderator capabilities are scheduled for future versions already, that's why Nibbler told you that there's no use in asking for such a feature once again. Before posting a feature request, make sure that it hasn't been asked before, as suggested in the sticky thread. Marking thread accordingly.

Ok sorry bout that, just wanted to help :)
Didnt see it in the approved section.
