Can't edit theme.php

I created a new theme following the directions in the docs. Just testing, I was able to change the separator from :: to a dash, so it partially works.

However, I'm trying to edit $template_album_list_cat, but whatever I change, nothing happens.

When I look at your site, I see that the menu separator is still a "::" where your theme.php says it's a "-". Did you change it back or have you not uploaded the theme.php since you edited it?

I changed it back.

Also, I tried putting the same code in a different theme.php (the classic one), and still no effect. What could be wrong?

Nevermind, thanks anyway guys. I was editing the wrong variable - I meant to modify $template_album_list.
