I need to use HTML/PHP in my image description but can't find a way in 1.4.x to do this.  I've have had a look on the board and on Google for a way to do it, but I've found nothing that works.

Any help would be much appreciated

Thanks

Tim

EDIT: It's jsut me uploading images and nobody else can edit the descriptions.

Does nobody have the answer?  All I want to put into the image description is:

<?php
include_once "/home/XXXXXXXX/public_html/poll/booth.php";
echo
$php_poll->poll_process(4);
?>

You can't use php in an image description since the image description is never parsed as php. I would suggest implementing a new bbcode for what you want to do.

How would I go about doing that?

And if it won't get parsed is there any point?

Thanks

Tim

The idea is that you would use something like [poll] in the description which would get handled by Coppermine using the bb_decode() function. You would add in code to that function to do the include and call the method you specified above. It would then return the html output of the call into the displayed image description. I can't code this for you now however. Bump the thread in a few days if you don't get any reply.
