Giving more than ONE user group access to a gallery?

Hi guys, thanks for all the hard work, i managed to bridge my coppermine and VB no problem, now i want to create a gallery but i want lets say 2-3 user group to see it only, i know one way is to combine the mmebers of the 3 usergroup into 1 and give that 1 user group access, i was wondering is there any easier way? i know the password thing in 1.4, but the problem with is, i want the 2-3 user group also being able to UPLOAD to that gallery, with the password function, they can only see, and the album creator can only upload.
