I just uploaded coppermine to my webserver, created the database, set the permissions to certain folders (according to the documentation), ran install.php - it said everything was fine... Want to continue with login.php ?
Nothing happens anymore - just a blank screen....

checking the database: coppermine tables are included.
coppermine version 1.4.8

Any idea, what might have gone wrong... (I know - normally the problem is sitting in front of the keyboard...)

It probably means you didn't upload all the files. Check that you did or enable error reporting/logging in PHP so that you can get an error message. Latest stable version of Coppermine is 1.4.9

you were right - since I didn't plan to use it, I left out the theme (folder) 'classic'...
