I have the version on 3 computers but do not have any issues.
Did you read the manual first???? Taking 2 minutes to backup your files can save you hours of wondering what you screwed up.

Ron (a.k.a. rphMedia) found an issue with a missing image on the right side of the shelf. I didn't even notice that it doesn't show in FF but does in IE. Anyway, I've fixed this problem and maybe it will fix the problems that some folks are experiencing with black boxes showing up. I've attached a new style_wp.css which has the fixes. What was missing was the height variable for the image.

Give this new style sheet a try and report back your results.

Thanks,

Gizmo

PS. Many thanks to Ron who has a keen eye!

Fixed the FF issue without a doubt.

IE issue still remains when a specific width is specified (smaller than screen.width resolution).

Setting the width to 100% vice 58em (some may not like that style) cures the mystery blocks.

My sample gallery has the 100% width if you'd like to see what it looks like.

Hi,

I would like to ask for the permission of the author of this theme to port it over as an SMF theme.

If permission is granted I will give FULL credits to the author in the footer.

Please let me know if you will give the permission :)

If not then no problem - Great theme!! Love the pull tab - it simply the bombiest :D

I'm just the porter of Derek Punsalan's theme so you can ask him at www.5thirtyone.com and download the theme from there. Since it's an open source theme, there shouldn't be any problems but as you suggest, it's nice to be credited for your work so please leave in his footer.

Thanks :D

yes we have a very strict policy at SMF for crediting other peoples work. I'm part of the support team for Tiny Portal (a portal mod for SMF) whose lead developer is also one of the Developers at SMF - so strict conformity is always checked and asked for :D

Thanks for the info - I'll contact him soon

Hi,
First, Really great theme. :) not only because of the pull "toy", but it's just very well done. :) thanks!

Has anyone cured the "Black Boxes" to the sides of the shelf in IE?

Tried replacing the style_wp.css posted above, still have the same problem..
Am i missing anything?

(Setting the shelf width (line 64) to 100% as stated above "fixes" the issue with the black boxes, although it's not the prettiest fix...)

Thanks,
Benji

Look back about 6 posts and you'll find that I attached a new style_wp.css to that post that should fix your problem.

Hi all...I'm new of Coppermine, and this is a really good project.
I found all problems resolution and tips in this forum...now I'm trying some themes in my gallery and Foliage is fantastic.
I want it! ;D but I think that I have the same problem of benj_gos...and nobody solved it :(
I replace the old style_wp.zip with the new one, and I try the gallery on 2 computer but is the same.
I attach 2 files:
- 1.jpg
Shows what I see when "pulled menĂ¹" is all down...with 2 grey blocks on the sides

- 2.jpg
Shows what I see, for a little part of second, when I click on "pull" and the menĂ¹ come back into the original position the 2 grey blocks disappear and I make a screenshot quickly after "pull" click.

I hope you can help me...excuse me for my bad english!
Many thanks in advice.

Gizmo

The black boxes are an issue with IE only. I've been traveling a lot lately and will do so through next week so I'll get back to it as soon as possible. I'll need to disect the css file and see what's the problem and of course if anyone has an answer, please let us know.  ;D Also, links to your galleries help a lot in troubleshooting.

Hi Gizmo,

I was wondering if you had made any progress figuring this issue out with the black boxes in IE when you pull the string. Your moded style_wp.css has fixed it for the firefox for me but IE is still an issue.

my IE version : 6.0.2900.2180.xpsp_sp2_gdr.050301-1519

Thanks for all your help

Roland_Deschain

Thanks for this fantastic theme, great work!

But can you please tell me where i can edit the entries in the pulldown menu (e.g. blog or the welcome-text)? I'm not very much into webdesign and was hoping to be able to change this settings in the gallery menu, but couldn't find anything there.

Thanks,
Roland

Gizmo

Thank you for your praise. Check the template.html for the links and welcome text.

Aaaahhhh, thanks! Silly me didn't look at the actual html-text, I only peeked in in wysiwyg-mode...

Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but it's not working.

Attached is a screenshot.

you do probably use Stramm's Modpack, read this to make it fully operational
