Here is the problem.

I want to be able to move albums to various categories but there is no drop-down menu beside Album category. The listing beside it is User Gallery.  Doesn't give me a chance to change it.

What am I missing?

Im having the same problem did you get it solved?

Not sure what you're asking. Are you trying to move albums from user's personal galleries into public galleries?

In fact, i'm looking an answer for this kind of issue. Is there any tip without editing any php file ?
Holy Crap !

User galleries are a special kind of category. They behave differently to admin-created public categories.
You don't have to edit a PHP file. You need to describe your actual question in detail. As I already posted above, I haven't fully understood the initial question in this thread. Replying to this thread, saying "I'm looking for a solution to this as well" is pointless unless you make sure that the people who are suppossedly meant to help you (that's me and the other supporters) understand the question in the first place.
Using coppermine's user interface, you can not move albums within a users personal gallery into a public category. However, you could move the files out of it and into an album in a public category. Does this solve your question?

I'm sorry for "hacking" this thread. i know how to move pictures from an user album to a public album by editing these pictures one by one actually.

I was looking for a lazy solution, moving the album with one-click. ;)

Although, thanks to your answer GauGau.
