Orderable Category List

I like the "Orderable Category List v1.1" plug in. But three issues:

1. It always defaults to the "Last Upload" column. If I select 'Category' sort, view an album and then come back to the main gallery page, the sort order is again "Last Upload" instead of "Category".

2. Is there any way to select the default sort order?

3. I also use the SEF-URL plug-in. But there seems to be a conflict with that plug-in and this one. It seems with out the dynamic parameters, this script doesn't work.
