When running the batch upload I get the following error:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 20971520 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 9216 bytes) in /home/fhlinux188/n/nuclearmultimedia.com/user/htdocs/essence/gallery/include/picmgmt.inc.php on line 424

Any ideas whats wrong and how to fix??

I am having this same problem ....

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 12000 bytes) in /usr/home1/jarodsa/public_html/mtwscrapbook/include/picmgmt.inc.php on line 262

and have read your post.

can you tell me where the php.ini file is located?

Ask your host to change those setting for you (I'm not sure if they do it under shard environmant), In most web servers you don't have access to php.ini as a regular user
