Hi gang,

at this moment no one can reach http://coppermine-gallery.net with https:// instead of http://
Can this be setup somehow ? The reason i ask is because my boss decided to install a big bad proxy server to keep all the non-work related sites out, plus the usuall porn etc..

Now, i get all my work done and then a little bit more and i'd like to be able to access the forum during day time as wel without putting the ADSL cable from work in my laptop. Can this site made to be reached through secure http as wel ?

SSL-encryption is only available at an extra charge and would require a lot of extra work on the page. As we're running on zero budget, it's not an option. Spending even more time on the coppermine homepage is not an option for me neither, sorry.
Try anonymization proxies instead or (even better ;)) do as your boss wants (surfing on non-work-related sites on the job can get you fired - someone definitely is reading the logs of the proxy). Sorry.

;D no harm in asking. It's actually my bosses boss. My local boss does not care as long as i get my project done in time and within budget.

As gaugau suggested you can use anonymization proxy:

- https://webproxy.kaxy.com/index.php (online anonymizer)
- http://www.fileedge.com/all/free-proxies/ (anonymizer Client)
- http://2privacy.com/ (anonymizer Client)

and my choice is Secure Accelerator it's not free but it has a grate power to bypass any firewall and many grate features
‍I don't answer to PM with support question
Please post your issue to related board

Of course, most internet filters that are being used by companies are aware of anonymization proxies and subsequently include them on the blacklist, so this usually is not an option.
