Hi..

As a lot of server-admins i use spamassasin for spam-filtering. I've seen, that the 'postcard-mails' from coppermine produce a lot ( 5.30) of points. Just to show you:
Content analysis details: (5.30 points, XXX required)
HTML_70_80 (0.5 points) BODY: Message is 70% to 80% HTML
HTML_MESSAGE (0.1 points) BODY: HTML included in message
HTML_FONT_BIG (0.3 points) BODY: FONT Size +2 and up or 3 and up
HTML_IMAGE_ONLY_04 (2.0 points) BODY: HTML has images with 200-400 bytes of words
MIME_HTML_ONLY (0.1 points) Message only has text/html MIME parts
MISSING_MIMEOLE (0.5 points) Message has X-MSMail-Priority, but no X-MimeOLE
UPPERCASE_25_50 (1.2 points) message body is 25-50% uppercase
MISSING_OUTLOOK_NAME (0.6 points) Message looks like Outlook, but isn't

So, perhaps you could take care of this points in the future..

thanks
doggy

Pathos

you could put the addy coppermine sends email from in your whitelist or test for x-mailer: coppermine photo gallery.

the only changes i could see to make in the coppermine side would be to drop the x-msmail-priority which would should reduce the score YOUR spamassasin setup will register to 4.30

Basically, the ecards have a high spam score because they are in html format and they come with an embedded picture - as most spam mails are done this way. The embedded picture is being considered as web bug (and could be used in this way). In fact, one could consider ecards as spam (at least I do so: if someone sends me an ecard from any app, I won't visit it), so it's ok for me that spam filters detect it as spam.
If this really bothers you, you'll have to hack the ecards code to send the emails in plain text format as well (should be an admin option). This has been on my todo list for quite a long time, but I didn't manage to do code it yet, so if someone could come up with a hack (*hint*) I'd appreciate it-
