Login Problem

Hi I'm really new to this, tried really hard but I'm so confused. I've installed everything and it said it was ok, redirected me to the login page and I got this...

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: ob_clean() in /home/sites/t/****/web/coppermine/include/init.inc.php on line 153

No idea what it means.

it says:PHP (version 4.2.0 or better)
check your php version
