upload filename mismatch

When trying to upload the picture, the data about the picture wont write to DB. Using single upload and debugger turned on I found the following:

Warning line 225: unlink(./albums/edit/preview_6b3e637c.JPG) [function.unlink]: No such file or directory

When I browsed the edit folder I found out, that newly uploaded files are stored under different filename, like:

mHTTP_temp_ef74c546.JPG

What causes this filename mismatch and how to fix it. I'm using the latest 1.4.9 release and everything has been installed successfuly. I have also read Upload FAQ several times and everything is set correctly.

Any advice?

mHTTP_temp_ef74c546.JPG is a regular http upload name and it's fine
