how to get a notification when ecard was sent

Hey!

Well, I seem to be the last one having the good old version, but it works just fine for me. So here is my question

Is there a possibility to get a notification when the user sent an ecard. Something like a Thanks message besides the little popup window saying your ecard was sent.... dont like it too much, So I want to send the guys an email to say that. Looks fancier.........hehehhe.

I had a look @ the ecars.php but that looks a little crazy to me.... maybe there is someone out there who still got an idea of that thing!
