Hiding Categories

Hey ppl!

I'm with a problem, I have a gallery 1.4.9, http://www.kellypictures.net/

As you can see I have 47 categories and one example is these one:
. Photoshoots
2002
2003
2004
2005
2006

I would like to hide the subcategories, in this case: 2001,2002,2003,2004,2005,2006... I've already done it before, but I can't remember how... can you help me? I want one gallery like: http://www.britney-land.com/gallery/
