Hello, after updating my gallery from version 1.4.3 to version 1.4.9 I have problems with the encoding. The previous encoding of my language Bulgarian was Windows-1251. I see that this encoding is not supported by the new version. When I switch to UTF-8 encoding, all image titles, comments, and user information in bulgarian swows with strange symbols  :'( My question is: How to make the new version to be encoded in windows-1251 (or Cyrilic (Windows)) ?  ::)
.

cpg1.4.3 didn't come with a windows-1251 language file neither - you must have edited something when you ste it up in the first place. Do so again.
However, we recommend converting your textual content of your database into utf-8 instead by using charsetmgr.php.
Has been asked often, please search.
Moving to proper sub-board, please start your threads in the proper board in the future.

I opened charsetmgr.php, but when I pressed "check" button I got: The page cannot be displayed. Where the problem could be?

If I make this conversion, would the previous comments, titles, e.t.c left while the site was under windows-1251 encoding, be displayed properly ?

Nope, I'm not good at databases e.t.c  ::) Is there another solution ?
