Filecount incorrect?

I've noticed on the mainpage of my galleri, that if I total the number of files and albumbs I don't end up with the same numbers as the summary on the bottom of the page?

A manual summary gives 7.506 files, and the summary states 9.333 files?

Stats respect permissions.

But as Administrator should I not have access to all albums? Users are not allowed to create their own albums, so the only albums in the gallery are created by me.

A couple of calculations found the problem. I have a category called "Heste" which states 1.947 files. In this category there are 4 subcategories which holds 1.827 files, add those to the 7.506 files reported on the mainpage as being in the categories the result comes to.. 9.333 files.

So a category only count files in albums in it, and not the albumbs in the catogorys subcategories. I'm not sure whether to call this a feature or a bug?

Missing feature - we're aware of this and decided not to add the load of even more queries just for the sake of exacty stats for sub-structures. After all, coppermine is a gallery app, not some stats app.
