Check the permissions for albums and all other folders within, that should be 777 or 755 (depends on your server setting)

I have triple checked and the permissions are set just as specified.

Joachim Müller

Checked or set? You need to set them, don't trust the status your FTP app might display.

KamikazeBoD

Did just as you said, reset all the permissions to 777.

Sami

If 777 dose not work for you ,set it to 755

As suggested in the permission section of the docs: some webhosts won't let you set permissions. Therefor, if you have issues setting permissions, ask your webhost for support. Tell them that the script needs write permissions on http://www.brothersofdarkness.com/coppermine/albums/ and everything within it.

I have been running Coppermine for almost a year and have had no problems so why would all of a sudden the permissions change them selves back? I know yall are trying to cover the most obivous things but I can change the permissions on all the other apps that I am running and the were set right because it worked fine for almost a year then I got the impossible to move error one day and had made no changes to cause that error. Once I got the first error message I then upgraded as told from 1.4.3 to 1.4.9. I am not trying to be rude but I just dont see how it could be permissions. I do thank you for your help, and hope you can help me figure this out.

If you didn't change something then your host did. Hosting companies adjust their server setup all the time - tell them you are having issues uploading with a PHP script and see what they say.

KamikazeBoD

My host says they have made no changes during the time frame. Any other ideas???

Joachim Müller

Did they set permissions for you as I suggested in my previous posting? Also ask them to review ownership (CHOWN) - they will know what to do; you might send them the link to this thread in case you have no idea what exactly to tell them to do for you.
