Help required,uploads have ceased to work?

I have been using this great program for some time with no dramas. All of a sudden I cant upload my pics to the site. I have tried on my work computer as well as home . No joy. When i batch up i can open the photo on the upload but it will not upload. There is a small red cross on the frame where the photo should be. I have not altered anything  in settings. I am reasonably new to this, please be gentle with me.
