Coppermine critical error:
Unable to connect to database !

MySQL said: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (11)

or

There was an error while processing a database query

More info please.

What url ? What were you doing on the site prior to getting the error ? Did you install a plugin or modified some pages yourself. Etc.. etc..

And put this "There was an error while processing a database query" through the Search. Combined with what you know and what you did not post here you might find the answer yourself.

The error message you got is not related to coppermine issues, but server issues. Only your webhost can fix them, and obviously did. Has been asked and answered often already, searching the board for your error message would have told you so as well.
