Not writable by the script error message.

I tried uploading a picture but now this message comes up: Destination directory albums/userpics/10001/ is not writable by the script!

What does that mean?  I didn't do anything different from before, and now all of a sudden I can't upload.

Set permissions on the albums folder and everything within it as suggested in the docs.
