copyright & trademark symbols

Hey, I've got a couple area on my site where I've included the copyright and trademark symbols. But on the gallery page they come up as little squares. I had the same problem with my topsites script but I changed the charset to ANSI and it fixed it. But it won't work with the coppermine theme template. Any ideas???

Use © or © for the ©-Symbol and ™ or ™ for the ™-sign.

Thanks, that works What I did was copy those symbols from micrsoft word and pasted them into visual studio and it genereated a different code. I appreciate your quick reply. Thanks again.
