Ecard and links to external websites

I am trying to figure out how a ecard sender can add a link to the message.  The link might be a web or email address. Does anyone know how this can be done?

you can try adding bbcode, like on this board, using

Code Select Expand

[url=http://foo.com/]foo[/url]
[email]foo@bar.com[/email](not sure if it works, haven't tested this myself)...

Tired these comands but it did not work. What about hard coding a field into the form?
