Here is a link to the documentation.

Edit:  Please be sure to select the right documentation for the version you are running.

>:( I am not going to waste any more time on replying to posts for people who did not feel like reading the instructions.  There have been an increasing number of posts who simply want someone to do the work for them.  The 3,203 lines of code in the most recent dev version are not enough to help them along apparently.

I am not saying that I won't help people who really just don't understand things.  You can troll through the threads and find examples of people I have gone to great lengths to help who really did not know anything.  That is fine, I don't mind.  But these people posted examples of what they tried, listed what they read - in short showed they tried to figure it out.  I have the utmost respect for these people who are marching off into the unknown and trying to learn something.  One guy has posted such insanely complete examples and records of what he has done... its impressive.  Someday when he finishes learning I am sure he will write something better than cpmfetch.

>:( On the other hand, there are posts from people who ask the most basic, illustrated all over the documentation, questions.  I have no tolerance for that.  Send me money ( http://www.explosivo.com ) and I will make your web page for you.

If you have a problem with the documentation - there is a board for that too:

Language gaps I have a tolerance for...  but only so far.

I am finding it harder and harder to squeeze time in to keep cpmfetch moving forward...  do some legwork and make it easier for me.

If you post this sort of question - you will at best get a link posted by me to this rant.   If you think you really did try to figure it out on your own, then post a follow up to your thread and show that.  If you did not, go back and:

1) Read the docs
2) Search the forums

Then post your solution and mark your thread solved.

Or

Delete your thread and go away, or wait for someone to come along that wants to do the work for you.  Some have made the argument that it will drive users away from cpmFetch.   I have no idea how many users there are - I don't want it rated on some forum, I am not worried about getting my ego massaged.  I have cpmFetch for myself, and put it up for those that may benefit from it.  The fact I even wrote doc's amazes me.  If a few lazy people get upset and go away, I can live with that.

What do I get out of this?  Once in a while someone does something really really really cool with it.  That makes me happy.  Or it goes onto a really nicely done site.  That's all I get.  So if a few users don't want to walk the last mile to get it working and expect support like they are entitled to it... well, my day just gets a bit easier.

So understand this - if you are making an effort, really trying - I will help as much as I can and time allows.  If you are just looking for a quick answer so you don't have to learn anything...

Have a nice day, and understand this is for your own good.

(And I would like to apologize to the forum owners for marring the board with this rant, but I simply cannot take it anymore).

And to note one last time:  If you are making an effort - I will make an effort to help you.

One last time... the documentation:
