adding flash and moving the search help please.

I am setting up a gallery site for a mate and he want's to have a flash banner which flicks through a set of images can this be done? we're using the K2 theme and modifying it. He also was hoping to have a search box in the sidebar either instead of the advanced search page or as well as, so where ever you are in the site you can always do a search, is there a plugin for this or can I paste something from the search page in to the side bar, I'm still very rough on PHP so any help would be greatly appreciated.

You're free to add any flash code you could think of into your template. A flash slideshow has been discussed in the past and there is a mod thread afaik that discusses it. However, this is not part of coppermine's core package nor does this get supported. Basically, you'll need to code ActionScript, which none of the Coppermine devs is familiar with.
