Missing User Galleries

I've searched for this problem, and haven't encountered a post that addresses my issue.  In my gallery, there is an album listing for "User Galleries" and it says that it contains 27 albums.  BUT when you click on User Galleries to choose one, it then says "there are no user galleries"  Where did they go??  How do I get them back?  I've read the documentation, searched this board, and looked all over in the admin controls, and can't find where they went or how to get them back!Help!!
