Ad code at the footer

As I am using free hosting, I need to add  advertisement at footer. How can I do this? I will not  remove "Powered by Coppermine Photo Gallery" notice. I want to place ad above it.

Another question, can I remove other links which are at footer "php.net" "http://www.mysql.com/" "http://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/check/referer" and "http://validator.w3.org/check/referer"?
If so, how can I do this?

Edit your theme's template.html to add the advertisement. To remove the vanity icons disable them in config. Please follow the one question per thread rule in the future.
