Problems with uploading / batch add files

When I try to upload I get the following error:

I guess the problem is some configuration thing with my host, but as far as I can see in phpinfo everything is ok...

Can anybody see something that is not "coppermine friendly" in the phpinfo below?

your mySQL table is probably broken, use mySQL's built-in repair functions, either on the console if you're familiar with it, or with phpMyAdmin (check the tables and choose from the dropdown at the bottom "repair").

I tried reparing the table with phpmyadmin (i do not have shell acess to the server) but it did not help

I also tried uploading just one file and got this error:

If you have really selected a file to upload, check that the server allows file uploads...

I will try to install coppermine in another directory and see if the error is the same... Could the error be caused by lacking permissions for /tmp/ ?

Okay, the first error occurs when MySQL is trying to create a temporary file to store the query results.  This could be due to improper MySQL configuration, or it could be due to a specialized server configuration. 

The second error is caused by the file either being too large or by the aforementioned specialized server config.   

First try adding a /temp or /tmp directory to your webroot.  Ex. www.mywebsite.com/tmp

Ok I will have to contact my web host then... The strange thing is that I uploaded a new copy of coppermine and made new tables in the sql db for it... It worked for about 20 mins and since it has not worked... Today I tried deleting the tables and installing again but it gave  the same problem...
