Need some redesign help

Me again and I hope I have posted this in the right place.
I need to take the Coppermine menu out of the table that it shares with the logo. Can this be done? Here is my reason, I want to create a custom menu. I need this: http://thefishingstation.com/hook/ to somewhat match this: http://thefishingstation.com/gallery/ as far as the top of the page goes. So far, with the Docs and help here, I am getting there.

Lastly (but I should post this up to) is this the most practical way of doing it? Keep in mind, all this design schtuff is new to me, so be gentle.  Thank you.

edit themes/yourtheme/template.html. Move the placeholder tokens in curly brackets around as you see fit.
