I will re-check ok?

To do that I will disable bridging, then check to make 100% sure, then enable bridging again.

Back in 5 mins.
It's nice to be nice.

Attach a screenshot of coppermine's config screen to your posting, with the section "User settings" expanded.

It appears that this setting is not being taken into account. Disable bridging once more and then PM me a coppermine admin account.

Coppermine's bridging mechansim requires the usage of SMF's SSI.php to be fully operational. Your copy http://ofbboard.com/ofbforum/SSI.php returns a "500 internal server error". Fix that first - as suggested in the docs that come with coppermine, you need to make sure that your bridge app is working as expected before you can start bridging. Your copy of SMF is acting up.

Powerbob

Strange that! It just starts acting up out of the blue? Never had a problem with it before! So what now? upload a fresh copy of ssi.php?
Sorry but otherwise I have no idea.

I have no idea - this is related to SMF, not to coppermine. Ask for support on the SMF board. Usually, you can get more details for "500 Internal Server Errors" if you look at the server's log. This probably is something you have to check with your webhost. I really can't help you with your issues directly related to SMF.

Powerbob

Ok I went back to my site, uploaded another fresh copy of SSI.php (just to be sure) Then deactivated all my mods. and low and behold the bridge "WORKED" ;D . So I re-installed my mods one by one till I found the culprit! Now all is fine again.

Thank you very much for all your help and support :D

I have struggled a bit to follow this. But am I right in thinking one of your mods caused the problem ?? and if so which one ?

That's what he said.

Powerbob doesn't visit this forum very often, so there is little use in asking him which mod was the culprit. Do as he suggested and turn all mods off. Then try if bridging works as expected. If it does, turn your mods back on, one after the other, and test carefully after each step when bridging stops working. That's what he did, which led him to success. You should do the same thing. If you're not ready to do so, start a thread of your own, doing exactly as suggested in the sticky thread When requesting bridge support - mandatory!

Powerbob

The Mod was the Portal PortaMx, and they solved the problem in there software so now you can use Coppermine with there portal and SMF ;D
