If you can provide answer to these, i would really appreciate it.

- Can i use the same directory to upgrade to 1.1.1?

- The install procedure says make another directory and basically transfer the albums there... that means /pictures becomes /something else > having to edit every link on the site that is pointing towards /pictures, is there any way to avoid that and still get the integration to work?

Thanks :)

you coan also overwrite your existing 1.1.0 files, no problem - in fact, that's what I did with my gallery.

That sounds good. I will try it see how it goes.

So, just copy the newer files right into the old directory? And then run the upgrade script? Off course, modifying phpbb file so it knows update with gallery is coming?

You will also need to save your config.inc.php file.  Or edit the new one to reference your particular server configuration.  This file is in the ./include dir.
Read the Online DOCs, FAQ, and SEARCH the board BEFORE posting questions for help.

this is a known issue, depending on your board software. Look in your board's support forum for the term "redirect"...

Another concern I came across....

Besides me I had some other users who were JUST Admins of GALLERY with admin rights... but had nothing to do with the forums. Now that databases have been integrated.... they are not administrator no more.

Is there anyway to change that? How can a USER/moderator at the forum still be an ADMIN at the gallery?

Thanks :)

I have the exact same problem... Which boards are you using ? I'm using PHPBB... and this problem is really a pain, isn't it ? :(

I am using phpBB www.defencetalk.com/forums

And yes it is a problem... now you have to give someone whole forum adminship for them to admin the gallery as well!
