Hi, please don't mark my karma down just as it is on the mend :)

I don't want anyone to code this for me just your opinions on if it can be done.

Imagine this:

A member uploads an image, when they are giving it a title etc, they get the choice to mark the image as mature content or not mature content.  (i'm talking nude art here not porn)

If they mark it as mature then the image will only be available to look at to members who are logged in.  It's about protecting kids from nude and mature art basically.

So we are talking about giving individual images the same privacy options that albums have.

Do you guys think this would be possible to do? and if it is where is a good place for me to start looking?

p.s.
what would be best is if admins could mark content as mature at the point of approval...but this is academic as it might not even be possible to give individual images these attributes.

It's possible but you have to change quite a lot of code. It would be better to use designated albums for such content. This has been discussed before as a (turned down) feature request.

oh right I will have a look for that post, i couldn't find it when I searched before.

I know it would be easier to go with separate albums method as it is already setup like that and I will probably end up going with that.

...but from a user friendly standpoint I think it would be nice to be able to tag individual images as mature.

I basically have the exact same issue as Nalif in this thread.

It is a pity it was turned down.  Ah well :)
