pictures and albums disappear

Here's the deal, I do admin on a coppermine gallery - latest release 1.4.10

My client uses it to manage pictures for ebay. Here's his process
1) upload using the windows wizard
2) open the gallery coppermine
3) open the album
4) click on the picture to view it in a seperate window
5) right click copy
6) paste it into the ebay advanced editor, that somehow gets the the image html out of the clipboard

Sometime during this process a photo or even an entire album disappear. No trace in the database or on the server. He said he's not clicking delete, and delete needs confirmation...

Any thoughts?

A link to the gallery in question might be a first step - please post it. I have never come across a similar issue, so it is not a "known issue" that could be answered easily. Could be a PEBKAC issue imo.
