How do I change the color of this??

Hello!!

I was wondering if anyone knows how to change the color of these table looking like things in the coppermine gallery?
The color That I want to change is circled in red it is color (EFEFEF)
I am using the classic theme.

but when I change everything in the css to another color this  dark white color is still there. Unless the Css isn't where I am supposed to change it.

I was Also wondering maybe if I can't changed the color of that dark white, if I could make it transparent so I can see a background instead

I also tried a few of the themes available and they were not showing up properly themes were 1.4 X
and the gallery version I have is 1.4.9

Another example of what I would like to change: The white (circled) to make it another color or transparent so I can see the background. The original is the waterdrop theme.
