Sorry there is no album where you are allowed to upload files

gives me this errors when i try to upload the pictures using the registered member
site address http://flickr.uni.cc

1- it's not wise to use Flickr as a name as this site is already using it, http://www.flickr.com/
2- as for the error messages that you get, use the forum search option or read through the documentation. Especially the upload trouble part of it.

The error message

Sorry there is no album where you are allowed to upload files
should be pretty self-explanatory: either you (as admin) allow your users to upload to public albums (on the groups panel) and explicitely set permissions for the albums the uploads are suppossed to go to (using album properties). Alternatively (or additionally), when allowing your users to create personal albums (again:groups panel), make your registered create personal albums first using the corresponding button on their menu bar. As Hein suggested: this is being covered in the docs, please read them carefully.

I get the same problem. When logged in as a Registered user, I cannot upload to any public albums. However, as the admin I have made sure (three times sure) that Registered users are allowed to upload to public albums. I clicked Apply Modifications each time after I was done, yet still nothing. Why is this?

Well, if you think that you have exactly the same issue as reported above and therefor think that it is justified to hijack another user's support request, then you should post a link to your gallery, a non-admin test user account with upload privileges. Attaching a screenshot of your groups page can't hurt neither. Please review the thread Upload for Users as well and see if it applies for you.

1) Yes, it is the same issue. I'm not "hijacking" it, rather posting that I have the same problem. If you want me to make a second thread about the same problem so that I'm not "hijacking" another user's support request, then I can. I just figured it'd be less clutter to keep the same problem in one thread.

2) I updated my code as instructed in the Upload for Users thread. It still does not work.

3) I cannot post a link to my gallery, because I am building it for my company's intranet, so it's internal to us. I can, however, post links to screenshots of it. They are attached.

Also, apologies for sounding rude in my above post. Did not mean to.

I also have the same error problem ,"Sorry there is no album where you are allowed to upload files ", the registered users cannot upload pictures in my public album. I have set already from group manager the permission for registered users to upload photos in public album.
I just confused to CMMOD permission, what file should I apply the permission, it is the upload.php or the whole directory.
