Is it possible to bridge 2 seperate coppermine installs?

the initial problem is the coppermine bridge file being the same and it finding the wrong 1.

These are my 2 coppermine directories, reason for 2 is because permissions are to be set differently.

You can not use the bridge manager: none of the bridge files are designed to accomplish what you want.

To make two coppermine installs on the same domain share users, just make them use the same user table. This can be accomplished by editing include/init.inc.php. I'm pretty sure that I have posted detailed instructions already, please use the search.

However: I suggest you explain why you need two different galleries on the same domain (with the need to administer both): usually, the whole need to have two independant galleries is not there - in 90% of all cases of users planning to "bridge" two coppermine installs it turned out that this was not necessary in the first place and the feature they have been looking for could be accomplished by applying an easy hack.

it's so i can have 2 different url's 1 for gallery, and 1 for audio - without having too many usergroups.

We don't want to be merging our audio to gallery to have them in 1 gallery. Our main purpose deals with audio and really needs to be seperate from our gallery. We see Copppermine to have potential to be a great media gallery that's downloadable - and for this, i thank you all for a "quick fix" to a present problem!!

Solution we figured would be to have to seperate installs to acumplish both our aims. Not massivley important, but would be nice to share the same logins.

Tried a search, but unfortunatley, little time to research all the results - sorry :(
