SMF 1.1.2 and Coppermine 1.4.8 Album Upload Not Working

I have the following issue when trying to bridge coppermine and SMF:

Normal users can not upload photos to coppermine.  I can not change album/group permissions.  In user mode, it says..."Sorry there is no album where you are allowed to upload files" but I can do it in admin mode.  When I click assigned albums in groups, it just takes me to the members list in SMF.  Did I forget to do something?

Test user account: test / password

BridgeManager settings:
Forum URL:  http://www.tmntu.com/cab

Use post-based groups?:  1

Upgrade! Most recent stable release currently is cpg1.4.10.

Make sure you have albums that are set to allow uploads.

Album properties, set "Visitors can upload files" to "yes".
