I use theme_display_cat_list to hide my categorys of protected albums.
It works great all categorys without pictures are hided.
My problem is i have got a hirarchy for famaly like:
Headcategory
    Subcategory 1
        Album 1
        Album 2
    Subcategory 2
        Album 1
        Album 2
and so on

So the headcategory has no album itself

Is it possible to modify theme_display_cat_list to show empty categories when there are subcategories
