Counter problem

I am posting here in the hopes that there is hope. I am quite sure I know the sad answer, but I am in an optimistic mood. Twice I accidentally reset my counters on the Albums. Is there a way of retrieving them. Also, is there a way of setting the admin tools not to default to the counter or to ask whether we do want to change it back to zero. I was doing something else, pressed submit and voila, everything is back to zero.

You can get them back if you have a database backup, otherwise no. The defaulting on the admin tools page is a mistake and will be corrected for the next version. If you search the board you should be able to find discussion about that.
