I'm having problems with my Coppermine gallery 1.4.x. No files were altered, the database username/hostname/password is all in place, and nothing was even touched (except images added, which were working fine too).

All of a sudden, I get various errors, sometimes different when I go on to the URL. It either gives:

Template error
Failed to find block 'file_line'(#()(.*?)()#s) in :

                        {MESSAGE}

Or a Critical Database error. I know there is a sticky for the block error, but it isn't helping since I can't find BLOCK_ID in the theme and template I am currently using. I don't know if it is a server problem because other galleries on the same server seem to be working fine. I downloaded the template/theme and then re-uploaded it then it gave me a Critical Database error.

Here is the URL if anyone wants to see the problem live: http://hduffworld.com/gallery

Could someone please explain to me how to fix this problem?

First of all you should enable debug mode

^ I can't do that since, I can't even view the gallery. I go to the URL and just get the template error. I don't see anything else. I'm sorry for being a total newbie, but is there a way to enable debug mode without logging in as an admin then? Because, I can't even view the gallery.

Okay, so I repaired all the tables in the database and now the gallery is working fine, except when I log in as an administrator, it still gives me the same "template error" (though I can't find anything wrong with the template).

Check theme-upgrade doc since you have custom theme and you said (by PM) that you've upgraded from very old version
