This is not related to the thread you posted on, splitting.

Set 'Relative path to your BBS's config file' to the relative path to your forum and update your gallery.

metalcherry

ok, i think i have managed to do it, i set the BBS config route and it never came up with the error when i enabled it

I decided to check users on the photoalbum and they are all gone now - there is nothing showing :S but when i log out it logs me out of the forum so i think it has bridged but does this mean my members have to register for the photoalbum again or is it automatically linked - sorry i dont know very much about computery things.

That's even more of a reason to read the documentation thoroughly before you do anything. Users from the gallery are not taken into account when you bridge, so they must register in the forum now. If you don't want that then you can disable the bridge.

Update your gallery.

Its cool - from the looks of it its working fine and i have got a couple of the members to see whether they can log into the forum and check that they can go into the gallery without having to log in again and all seems fine :)

I checked the documentation and followed it but it seems to be working fine now *touch wood*
thanks for the help :)

You're still running an outdated version (cpg1.4.10). It is absolutely mandatory to upgrade to the most recent version (currently cpg1.4.12) no matter what...
