Batch Add Images not showing up

When I am doing batch image upload, and select the file and open the folder to select the files into an album, the images don't show up.  I  make sure that the permissions are set to 777.  Is there something else I may be doing?

Do exactly as suggested in the upload troubleshooting section of the docs.
