I tried with the dafult for PHP and then attempted to use the STMP settings for Yahoo email. Neither seem to work.

Latest version of Coppermine.  The site is:

www.thebarajasfamily.com/gallery/

Perhaps Yahoo hosting doesn't allow for this? Any other ideas?
