Hi,
I am pretty new at this and I need your help!
All of a sudden I have been getting a Http 406 error, when inserting photo's in a new album.
I upgraded my gallery to the latest version 1.4.12.
Is this a problem of my server of a gallery related problem and what can I do?

Thanks
Chris

Hi GauGau,

I did exactly what the documentation asked in problem troubleshooting, but I am still getting a http:406 error. What I also realized is that, I was trying to upload about a 100 pictures, but when I try to upload (album via ftp and then batch add files) 50 (instead of 100) it does work, so I am a bit confused, how come I can upload 50 pictures but not 100?

Thanks for the help
Chris

No, you did not. Re-read it thoroughly and do exactly as suggested.

The upload troubleshooting section of the docs contains clear instructions what to do when requesting support. Do exactly as suggested there.

Hi GauGau,

I did do exactly what the documentation asked.

Go to your coppermine page and log in as admin-DONE
Go to the config screen -DONE
Scroll to the bottom of the page-DONE
Expand the "Maintenance settings" section by clicking on it -DONE
Enable debug mode for everyone -DONE
Leave display of notices switched off -DONE
Save the new settings by clicking on "Save new configuration" -DONE
Go to the "groups" panel -DONE
Set the upload form configuration for all groups to "Single file uploads only" (set File upload boxes to "1", URI upload boxes to "0" and No. of boxes to "fixed") -DONE
Save your new settings -DONE

I uploaded one file with the http upload, via the Upload File button. And it gave me no problem, but I only get the 406 error when trying to upload via batch add files.

Also I checked these values and they were ok.
max_input_time
upload_max_filesize
post_max_size
memory_limit
LimitRequestBody
file_uploads
upload_tmp_dir
allow_fopen_url
