Coppermine install: http://www.shotthis.com/gallery/
Forum install: http://www.shotthis.com/forum
Coppermine version: cpg1.4.10
Forum version: PHPBB version 2.0.22
Test user account: testuser / test1234

BridgeManager settings:
Forum URL:  http://www.shotthis.com/forum
Relative path to your BBS's config file:  ./forum/
Use post-based groups?:  0
Cookie name/preifx phpbbmysql

I recently bridged the coppermine gallery with my phpbb and chose not to use group settings from phpbb, as I don't use them there either.
Now I am unable to add new groups to coppermine. I have searched the forums as best I could and could not find a work-around for this.

Could someone please help me figure out how to add more groups? I will be adding upgraded accounts for more storage space on the site, and need to be able to add them as soon as possible :)

Thank you in advance.

Sorry, I forgot to add:

The specific problem I am having, as I can add groups in the database, is that the bridge file keeps deleting the new entries before I can even see them in the admin panel.

I have looked at the bridge file, and am doing so still, and cannot find which code deletes the user groups that "shouldn't be there" if not using phpbb groups. Could you point me in the right direction? Thanks!

Nibbler

You add groups in phpbb, not in Coppermine. If you want to use extra groups then you need 'post-based groups' enabled.

Thanks nibbler, I re-did the bridge and enabled it, and now it works. Chalk up another "Duh" moment for Jax...
